Short Courses
In addition to a suite of accredited apprenticeships and traineeships, the MTA Institute (RTO. 31529) offers a range of short courses to introduce young individuals to the many career pathways available in the automotive industry.
Auto Ready
Auto Ready is a week-long, accredited program designed to provide high-school students in Year 10, 11, and 12 with a basic introduction to the automotive industry.
Students undertaking this program will learn a range of tasks relating to using and maintaining tools and equipment and identifying and inspecting mechanical and electrical components and systems of light vehicles.
This program forms part of the AUR20720 – Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation qualification, in which students will be enrolled.
AUR20720 - CERTIFICATE II IN AUTOMOTIVE VOCATIONAL PREPARATION
Our pre-apprenticeship course is a five-week course designed to give students a basic introduction to the automotive industry and prepare them with the skills and knowledge to commence meaningful employment in the industry.
Students undertaking this course will learn a range of tasks relating to identifying and inspecting mechanical and electrical components and systems of light vehicles.
This is an ideal opportunity for candidates to increase their employability potential and this entry level course provides a pathway to an automotive apprenticeship.
